1992-10-01 Roger Finally Finds Out Part 3

1 Oct 1992 (Part 3) - Roger charges back to WSPR, and reams out Holly for not appreciating their daughter enough. Holly doesn't share Roger's enthusiasm about Blake's loyalty. Roger feels that Holly could be a better mother to Blake. Holly is greatly amused when Roger explains what Blake was willing to do with a man she "hates" to help further Roger's goals. Roger continues to praise Blake but won't tell Holly who the man is (although she has a pretty good idea). Holly is intrigued to hear that there are pictures of Blake and this man together. Holly mentions that Ross went to see Blake, which sends Roger rushing back there, as Holly eagerly follows him. Meanwhile, Ross and Blake argue whether or not they should be afraid of her parents. Blake gets upset that Ross doesn't seem to appreciate that she's betraying her own father for him. Ross insists that he won't leave Blake. Later, after Ross and Blake have obviously made love, Roger returns and Blake tries to get rid of him. Ross chooses that moment to call out to Blake, and both Ross and Roger are stunned to see the other. Blake warily looks for Roger's reaction, as Holly arrives and watches unnoticed outside.

LOL One reason I went ahead and did these extra clips is because I thought each show's cliff-hanger would be too cruel to make you wait on.

It's ironic that about a year and a half from this time, Roger is giving Blake away to Ross at their wedding.

I see Holly is running for "mommy dearest" award! Such a great couple. I loved Ross and Blake together.

This storyline really gave the camera zoom a workout! Those reaction shots at the end are great.

Oh, absolutely. Holly was stunned senseless, while Roger always keeps his emotions on his sleeve.

Don't you find it interesting that Roger plays the parental card here? He tells Holly the same thing that Ross has been telling her. Don't push your daughter away...

I think when Roger finds out was so much better than when Holly found out, these are great videos keep them coming.

I know, and to think that Roger and Ross managed a tentative truce for Blake's sake. Just think about how far all four of them came in about a year. Holly, Blake, and Ross found their way to peace and Roger accepted (may have not liked them together) the relationship.
