Sex, Youth, and Pop-Culture.1 .m4v

Adolescence, Sex, and Reality Television, those are the three topics that I will present in my multimedia project. After an interview that I conducted with an adolescent on March 15, 2010, I decided that there should be further research done on how the three topic correlate for it seems to me that every time I talk to high school students about what is happening in their social and academic environments, sex seems to be a part of their everyday vocabulary. Everyone is doing it, most would say, and if they are not doing it or they are waiting to have sex, they are waiting for the right person. The questions I pose are, When is the right time for sexual initiation to begin? Is that marriage? How do they know who is the right person? Who has taught them who is the right person? What I am trying to get at is how do they use their bodies, their physical self, to get this right person and who influences them the most.
