It's not really a mantra exactly, it's the Sanskrit version of a text called Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya (usually "The Heart Sutra" in English), and is an important Buddhist teaching on form and emptiness, especially from the Mahayana perspective. The final line, "gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā" is often used as a mantra. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO SANG THIS VERSION?

ooh I love the heart sutra, but its always so fast I can't sing it. This is nice and slowed down. Her voice is very low as well, so I can understand. Mantra-shmantra, chant-shmant :P, to me they're all songs. I love singing them while I clean house because it calms me down (in fact I'm doing it now because I've been feeling angry and testy all day).
