NZ Company Bios Fuel has achieved what many people believe to be impossible by developing a fuel comprising of 40% water and 60% recycled waste oil emulsified to run a virtually unmodified Toyota 4wd more than 3000km's across the Australian desert as part of the Panasonic World Solar Challenge 2007.
Not only did the fuel run as efficiently as diesel, with no discernable wear and tear on the vehicles engine, but emissions were significantly reduced particularly Nitrous Oxides which dropped by more than 50% -- as was the vehicles CO2 factor which Professor Andrea Vezzini from the Bern university for applied sciences and head scrutineer for the GreenFleet class confirmed was reduced by a massive 90%.
The Bios Fuel team was the only NZ team of 3 to reach the finish unassisted, and as seen in this 60 minutes feature not only made the journey (despite 60 minutes initial skepticism) but actually towed the film crews relatively new but broken down campervan to a nearby town part way through the journey.
HA HA HA ! So you should feel like a goat Mr reporter, making fun of the boisfuel vechicle, then suddenly his near new mercedes diesel dies - HAS TO BE TOWED BY THE BIOSFUEL VEHICLE ! HA HA . . . .! !

If this biofuel makes in on the market, who will produce it? At what cost? Being 60% oil waste it is still subjected to the high cost of fossil fuels. Will the governments require only certified refineries make this fuel because of environment and safety reasons (excuses)? Did anyone catch the MPG of this biofuel?

They sure didn't cut Biosfuel any slack. The 60 minutes narrator took every opportunity to subtly disparage the team. Notice the "evil looking fuel" and other negative adjectives added to other phrases in reference to biosfuel.
I hope you all notice that.
