    Let's not change the details here. He did not leave his phone on; he ANSWERED IT. It is a careless mistake to forget to turn off your phone, but it is utterly disrespectful to answer it during class. If you don't see the difference then I can't help you. Fortunately, I don't think you'd ever be qualified to take a class I teach, so I don't have to worry about it. Enjoy your community college!
