In physics, the Coriolis effect is a deflection of moving objects when they are viewed in a rotating reference frame.

Sound confusing? Fear not! Eric Muller, a senior science educator at the Exploratorium, gave a hands-on training to the Explainers over the summer. We edited it together so you can watch it here.
