  • I'm learning right now, it will be one of my piece for my audition at the Royal Academy of Music. Beautiful piece, I did think it would be a little harder though.

  • @filigold Playing it on a modern grand is quite hard enough with all of the metal. Just stay away from tanks OK! Best wishes on your wonderful audition. If it seems too easy, just trying playing it as lightly, gently and as sensitive as is possible. It should seem that your fingers touch so lightly that you are in another world, which is maybe a bit scary; but nothing to be scared of.

  • opticalworld: This is as much an anomaly as references to age. I would say, If you can play the second movement giving yourself room to allow the phrases to flow through you, you might find that the problems in the first movement start dissolving easier than when you decide it's the difficult movement again it's emotional, and whether you're a child and emotions come easy to you or you're old and wise, it's up for grabs which goes.

take time to enjoy the second movement and find yourself in it

  • Recently, I have gotten two comments from people who say they play this piece. One is 96 and the other is 2! However, since the age on their respective youtube accounts did NOT match their stated ages, I had to prevent their posts from appearing. Every opera NEEDS someone in incognito, and since we apparently have two, it would be doubly disrespectful of me to ruin the theatrics!

  • Bravo! I'm learning this song right now in my keyboarding class. I thought that you're not supposed to use the pedal since this song was made before the pedal was invented but oh well, still sounds good. :)

  • ColormeVicious, and you're not supposed to wear anything that's made of acrylic, because it didn't exist then, and certainly one shouldn't wear pants as a girl, either. Sorry that's simply unstylistic (and yes I'm completely joking).

  • I like your playing so clear, purely delightful

  • Im learning this song... Im 12

  • Nice. You look like you are enjoying this, that is the reason this was made for. I don't really know why this is known as Mozart's "Easy Sonata", because there is great difficulty in this piece, not in virtuosism nor in tempo but in musicality and doing something big with very simple ideas. It really amazes me how there are just 2 voices but is so full of colours. Thanks a lot!

  • wow. i envy those people who could play this piece. i'm eighteen and still, i've been trying so hard to play the entire movement. no kidding, it's hard. the second movement is way easier than this one. could you suggest a technique so i could play this piece in an easy way? is there an easy way? lol. oh by the way you are amazing. :)

  • schöne interpretation
