Steve Allen LBC, Resonance FM, BBC, Melody & Smooth are my favorties. Allen's the english Howard Stern, insulting & ridiculing celebrities & saying stuff no one dares say. He's on 5-7am weekdays & 7-11 sundays, a real treat except when he reads too many texts & the dreaded every 15 minutes traffic reports. Resonance has the weirdest, most unusual sounds you never heard, sometimes for hours with no interruptions. They talk like theyr'e in their back yard or living ro☺m. BBC has the most soft spoken comforting voice like a bedtime story, Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit or Squirrel Nutkin. Apologies for any offense, i respect your achievements. Very short samples, fair use doctrine same way film reviewers review movies.

you can start with radio but could be extended in coffee, food, weather, lifestyle, even go as far as emotions, human relations etc etc. An internet radio maybe ? most of the times i find pleasent music at plusfm.net from france, occasionaly some good music here live24.gr/radio/best.jsp#l24pl­ayer=JWPlayer as well as 88miso.gr

It's no better in the US. I gave up on radio a long time ago. I just record the music I like and play it.
