@ericjungleboy hello Eric! thank you for explaining me better of what i tried to express in my comment. i live in an north european country where peiple get a high quality basic education. and so i've learned a lot of other countries and continents aswell as their history. but as i told told i'm white so i can't have any own experiences of what it is to be born black. so thank you! and i still stand behind my words of what i think of "black" ( brown in my eyes) people.Blessings!

@helithemaddog Black people are still going thru a healing process, not just from slavery and segregation but also from the negative stereotypes (which still continue). Songs like this seek to help black people counter those negative stereotypes and feel proud to embrace their culture and history (school history books don't teach much about African history).
