@AnthonyMartorina Thanks for your tips, Anthony. However, this new software/hardware that I purchased, DVD Maker by Kworld, solved the problem for less than US$60.

@SCHMALZ1966 I tried to send you a personal link to fix your problem but your page does not exist.
Also you mentioned NTSC that is the standard in North America. Every region uses a different standard for SD television. For example, PAL is from Europe and SECAM is in Asia. If you are using Pinnacle Studio and it is set for NTSC and you are bringing in a PAL signal you are going to have problems with color, sync and picture.

@shootingNmissing I am sorry to hear you are having an issue. There are a number of things that might be causing the problem. It is hard for me to troubleshoot without actually sitting in front of your bad or good computer. Are you recording your video from an analog device? I am going to send you a link that should help you figure it out.

@SCHMALZ1966 I am sorry to hear that you are having issues. If the video is captured from an analog source, then there is a good chance that the computer is dropping frames on capture. Do you have a second hard drive that is 7200rpm that u are recording to? I have found that trying to run software and record video to that same drive (the C Drive) can cause issues. I fixed it by capturing to the second hard drive in my computer. I am also going to send u a link that will help. Cheers,Anthony

I am extremely disappointed with Pinnacle Studio 14. I purchased it with the intention to convert my old VHS tapes into DVD format, however, this program cannot synchronize voice and image. Again, if your video output is not NTSC, it won't recognize any colours. I feel like I have wasted my money and time. Here is some advice: DON'T BUY IT! There is better stuff in the market.
