The Web 2.0 revolution has presented a number of new ways to market your products and services—few more effective than the simple blog.
Basically, a blog is an online journal that is updated regularly. A blog can be on any subject, and, since they are cheap to set up and run, it is not surprising that the net is cluttered with them. Setting up a blog is easy. Breaking through the mess of blogs already in existence is harder.
If you already have a business, you should certainly consider setting up a blog that is affiliated with your existing website.
You can write about your products, related industry news, voice opinions and even post video, audio and images. However, be sure that your blog isn't just a glorified ad. Make sure your content is relevant, interesting and well written. If you can attract visitors who are genuinely interested in what you have to say, your blog marketing experiment will be successful.
I am diggin the info! I put the widget on my page and signed up for the newsletter - I want to be successful in Internet marketing but I dont want to talked into buying a ebook, software, etc just to learn. Your teaching us what it takes to run any business on the web. Thanks!!!!!
