  • I cannot believe Frankie is no longer with us.

We shall carry on his legacy with our passion and enthusiasm for Lindy Hop.

    Dance in Peace Frankie.

  • adorable!

  • @fishyfish4444 It's The Shim Sham Song by Bill Elliott Swing Orchestra

  • Get down, Frankie!!

  • The song is called salt and peanuts or something like that. My amazing tap teacher Alicia Monaco taught my class thus today. It was simple and fun ;)

  • Can someone please tell me this music, this recording?

    Thank you.

  • @TroyOi I'm late in responding, so maybe you found the answer already, but, yes, Frankie Manning is in Hellzapoppin. He & his partner are the last pair to perform in the dance number. He's wearing jean overalls. "Queen of Swing" Norma Miller is in the second pair to perform (she's wearing a large chef's hat). She's 90 years old now and looks good in a Youtube video of her dancing/instructing around 2008.

  • Shim Sham Frankie all day long..........

  • I learned this dance a few days ago, and now I REALLY want to get into Swing!

  • Anyone know whether Frankie Manning was one of the dancers in the film Hellzapoppin'? (If so, which one?)

  • Frankie, what a dead set legend!
