  • if i want to make a pibed falling from a height how can i apply this on a pibed?

  • hi there, when I created the animation, there are no keyframes stored, but when I played back the timeslide the animation is created, just here are no visible keyframes......does anyone know the cause of this?

    thanks :)

  • i love these tutorials, absolutely no mention of Max Scene or Havok units, no explanation as to the units for parameters like mass... I suppose its in Tones! and that bullet is 2 miles in lenght?

  • Thanks

  • you right click bellow the role-out menu next to the undo button and stuff then select reactor. then just drag the popped up tool bar where u want to.

  • How do you get the reactor controlls above the standard controlls?

  • THX Dave

  • great man! This really helped! ^^

and btw 2:09 it sounds like you're saying "fuckin find it." But I'm not british :P ( I guess you are)

  • if you go to the uttility rollout and open the sub menu for reactor, you will find a rollout for 'world'. in there you should find an option for scale. 1m = ??m you should ajust this to match your system units. you can also adjust the collision tollerence. start at default and reduce it a bit at a time so as not to crash it. this should cause the computer to simulate the 'contact' at this designated distance. and reduce the effect of it 'hitting' an invisible surface. hope this helps :)
