The MBA might be thin, wooooow but not that resistant, is it? Mobility is what the MacBook Air is built for but what if it's hot outside? I mean, only think about Garageband with a bigger project or iMovie! Even small Macports like Gimp stress the GPU/CPU so it views junky artifacts! Not that great... and in summer *ugh*? Thank god it's made of aluminium for cooling down a bit more. Other kinds of standard software are fine. And 1 USB-Port? This means I'd need a stupid hub!

1. almost everything for the Mac is downloaded instead of disc-installed. However, you can get a external disc drive for the Macbook Air,a dn it has software to remotely use another computers disc drive.
2. Floppies are a thing of the past.
3. Macs are totally immune to all PC viruses. They still can get trojans, worms, and other Interent based viruses, but thats what built in spyware/malware protection is for.

Wait my laptop does all of that, well except for that wireless download thing. But really why not include a drive? they could of made a slot loading drive.

OMG!! IT FITS IN AN ENVELOPE! It has no drives and you have to wirelessly hijack somebody else's laptop to even watch a DVD, but IT FITS IN AN ENVELOPE!! It has no features BUT IT FREAKIN' FITS IN AN ENVELOPE!! It has no replaceable battery, but OMG IT FITS IN AN ENVELOPE!!!! I think I'm gonna waste $1800 and buy one (instead of three functional computers). And who needs a carrying case WHEN IT FITS IN AN ENVELOPE!!!! It'd probably be easy to ship, too BECAUSE IT FITS IN AN ENVELOPE!!!! OMG!!

It's wonderfully thin, But How durable can that thing really be during travel..? You'ed have to be way too careful with it And what if it Falls by accident? Or something slightly heavier falls upon it? It would slip right out of your hands! It's so fragile looking. I dunno, It seems like a Nice computer and is Wicked awesome looking, But It also just seems...Silly, Really. Fancy, Yeah sure. But again, Is it going to last a long time? o-o; I want it anyway. D:
