she forgot to introduce air to the vial in aspirating the medication..the vial should be rubbed between the palms it should not be shaken.

Ouch! My god that doesn't look nice. I'm lucky, I'm type one but I have a pen so I just slot in a cartridge, add a needle and shoot up in like 15 seconds. :-) You need em to get you one! (If it is diabetes you have, lol). BTW, nice TV in the living area. lol

I dont know where she went to nursing school but if there is no cap (which there didnt appear to be)your supposed to wipe the bottle with an alcohol pad in a circular motion before putting the needle in it then when injecting a person wipe the skin in a circular motion moving out and away from the piont of injection.
