@HolyXerxes before 15may, which was year 1969, most of Malaysian could speak english very well, so as you see elder people around 50-60 years old, how come they can read eng newspaper? How come they can communicate with eng? that is because then the country use eng widely, ever since NEP, everything become malay as now you see.......they are not stupid but tempted to become stupid as the gov totally are unwilling to enforce them at all.

@02838dklim Science in English is OK, but teaching in Middle/High school is bad, how far u think they will understand? Myself a student once and my English sucks to be start with how can i understand science that will be teach in English. Learn the basic of Science in Malay and they can advance it by translate it later when they fully mature. Im a College student now and so far i can tell i understand most stuff in English now.
