I did a set with Ed Shaughnessy in the mid-80s and he did a "no stick" solo that was pretty cool. He was telling us he was always looking for new things and new styles. I think she nailed the drum solo and stuck the landing.

They are so fun to listen to. They really enjoy the music and they are so good as well. Makes me want to practice. Actually, I really need to practice now.

I've listened to this tune a million times, but I never really noticed the claps near the start....

Great playing ! I would have liked to hear more tenor sax solo or other horns before the drums solo-and I'm a drummer!!!
You guys rip it up every time! The solos r great and I love seeing her smile and showing how much fun she is having!

I wish we had a stage that good to play on for our concerts, but we have to play in our gym, poor us. Our teacher had concidered this piece for us, but we played Minnie the Moocher instead. We're currently playing a fairly hard arrangement of Malaguena. And you guys are lucky to have a drummer with that kind of skill, she's about as good as ours. Again, great performance.
