I'm American and I don't listen to Japanese music because our music is censored. If you look into music scenes enough, there is PLENTY of good music thats not mainstream, meaning not censored in The States.
I listen to Japanese music because it kicks ass.

I listen to J-rock because I got sick and tired of every Rock band being a bunch of pussies who think making music is copying the bands before them. Fuck that shit, J-rock is original and creepy. as it should be.
