Wall Street in record spiral

Oct 7 - A five-day slide on Wall Street for the Dow and S&P 500 brought those key indices to their biggest losing streak on record.Investors continued to dump equities on worries actions by the Federal Reserve will not be enough to get the credit markets going again.

The Dow dropped 508 points to 9,447. The S&P 500 fell 60 points to 996. The Nasdaq lost 108 points to 1,754.

Crude oil rose to $96.06 a barrel.

i agree that we Americans need to stock up on necessary items like food and water now while we still have a chance, but i don't think that the US will split into 10 pieces, that seems a little extreme, even in a situation like this.

nobody has ever seen anything like that, this is much worse than than the first stage of the last great depression, i predict a major civil war and america eventually splits into 10 different nations. american should start storing canned food, water.....no joke.
