I suppose beer guzzling party losers get a better education at a state university? It's the individual, not the school. I could spend 4 years at the library and potentially get a better education than any state university. So, pick a school that fits your needs and schedule.

@jokerk01 I'm another success story. I was hired by the largest pharmacy company in the nation as a network systems administrator. Yes, Walgreens hires Devry. This is my 3rd S&P 500 company after AT&T and FPL. in fact my current supervisor mentioned he had good experiences with Devry Chicago alumni. By the way. I'm graduating tomorrow magna cum laude. When my supervisor found out I'm getting magna, he was pretty impressed and took me to lunch to celebrate it. Mind you, he is an UM graduate.

i can promise you that the children of devry executives are most certainly NOT encouraging their children to attend the school they work for. maybe a devry degree would be help for a job such as an administrative assistant, but for more professional occupations the degree is pretty much frowned upon or laughed at. there are exceptions, such as the naturally-talented computer engineer who enrolls in devry, but overall the school is essentially a money-grubbing scam.

A GPA of 3.7 means everything in the real world. There is always that one person that has a 3.5 gpa and theres that person with the 3.7 gpa.Who will the employer take most (likely)?..................The 3.7 guy of course. Unless you think a 3.0 GPA will get you anywhere??

How about having a 4.0 and not acting like "geniuses" cause it's pretty easy to obtain at Devry. Everyone lets just quit dissing everyone, it doesn't even look like it fits in at all! ;)
