The reason people think Epic isn't doing anything about the "rank reset" problem is because it wasn't a problem until a certain title update in Gears 2. I can't remember what update it was but it was definitely something they put in on purpose because it has carried over into Gears3 which is a completely different game.

As for the trading kills part: Would you rather get bullshitted out of a kill, after you've put so much shots into him, or would you rather die, but get the kill as well? I almost never complain about trading, because the situation could of been much worse.

People play call of duty because its easy and my baby cousin could throw her hands at the buttons and kill people. People play gears because its ghe most unique game of its kind. Its also more challenging. Just my point of view. Great tourney shwo! Ill be back next month too?

really well put together man and constructive points. i must say though i do think Rod is a giant douche n the ay he talks down to the community at times really gets my back up. i feel at times Epic treat this a dictatorship not a democracy, they need our hard earned money to keep going people.

The people who complained and complained until they got alpha are not real gears players anyways. It is no wonder they did not even play alpha.
Personally Alpha is still my most played gametype, because I love the classic feel, but i will play with sawed offs and retros all day no problem, the people who cant deal with those guns will always find something to hate.

And I also think that the "Stay Frosty" playlist is them actually testing the hammerburst because of how all of us have been complaining about it, I could be wrong though. Either way this new playlist will fail, you can't try to turn gears of war into cod, it just won't happen.
