A little addendum to my old MLK video, with MLK's perspective on the different kinds of extremism, and how sometimes extremism is no less righteous than moderation. With so much discussion right now about the tone and direction of our national discourse, I highly recommend reading the entirety of MLK's Letter from a Birmingham Jail.

Great stuff! I've been using the same quotation for years. Next you should consider reading from the 1967 speech where King justified his opposition to the Vietnam War by saying he'd realized that he couldn't condemn other countries unless criticized his own, which was "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today." Like this passage, it deserves to be better known.
