Amusement Rides DVD - Old School

This is a speical edition of Amusement Rides DVD focusing on old rides still travelling today. We have put together a dvd featuring 10 old rides filmed in recent years at modern events.

Old School features Madens Moon Rocket on its final opening at Lincoln Steam Rally. Shaws Ark at Wakefield Market place just weeks before it closed for the final time in 2004, Dowes Speedway at one of its last fairs at Worksop in 2004, Milbands Ark restored and open for the first time at Lincoln, Bowerys Skid taking on the modern big hitters at Hull Fair and many others

Also uncluded on the Old School DVD is bonus video. A 22 minute video feature of Carters Steam Fair open in glorious, warm September sunshine at Holyport Green, a 9 minute feature on the vintage fair at Tilburg 2007 where old rides open along side new rides at one of the Netherlands biggest fairs and and 8 minute feature on Milbands Ark open at Ruddington Bonfire in November 2009.

Old School also features photos from Holyport Green, Lincoln Steam Rally and Ruddington Bonfire.

It is yes. This one was built in 1926 and filmed at Dusseldorf in 2005 - it still attends there now and other fairs around that area

@AstronAstroll Looks like a caterpillar to me?! If you watch 1.51 for a few moments, you can see the green canopy coming over. I rode one of these in the UK a few years ago - not sure where but may have been one of the fairs in Great Yarmouth, although I wouldn't swear to it. They're very good and exciting though especially for someone who can't stand the more heavy duty variety of rides (ie white knuckle) :)
