wonderful. No more words. Nice luthier's work, and sound's quality of the instrument. Thanks for sharing out your passion.

Interesting video, I really like the background music, better than the Muzak they play on "How it's made" and other programmes!

How could you custom design a pickguard?
-
could you pick up wood for such a project at say a local hardware store. the prices on bass guitar wood are too pricey online

Why does the nut to the twelve fret have to be the same from the twelve to the bridge?
-

There are hardwood lumber yards in almost every city. Ask around you may get lucky.

@MrJoypad570 I used a old pick guard , the closer to the neck (More bass Tone) closer to the bridge (Brighter Tone)

what a great achievment, how did you feel once it was done? was it to your liking? or was it just the way it was mean't to be built and you felt it wasnt all that?

Im making an electric guitar from studying this video, and i have a few questions. is the stain a special kind of stain for it to stay in the gran?can i use the same procedure for the bridge placement? thank :D

@TheWoWandGuitarDude I am not using stain. The first coat is clear, that seals the wood. Next I spray a transparent water based color paint over the sealed wood followed by about 6 coats of clear. The bridge is done the same way for any string instrument. Good luck
