NBA Best Bet Thursday New Orleans Hornets at Phoenix Suns (-4 ½) (10:30PM ET) (TNT)

Phoenix went through a coaching change as Mike DAntoni was let go and Terry Porter was hired. Shaquille ONeal at this point of his career cant handle the run and gun so I expect the Suns to slow it down a bit. Unfortunately Steve Nash does not excel in the half court style and I believe Shaq may not be a good fit for the Suns roster and style. Chris Paul, David West and Tyson Chandler are young talented players who took the Hornets deep into the playoffs last season. James Posey was a great addition off the bench. The Hornets speed will get them to all the loose balls and will get plenty of fast break points against a poor defensive Suns squad. Take New Orleans +4 ½.
