  • While as a harpsichordist with an affinity for Glenn Gould, I usually prefer slightly dry, detached technique while playing Baroque music ... But I am beguiled by this lovely interpretation. It is almost romantic and yet you maintain each individual entry of the fugue theme perfectly. The rich polyphony is always evident ... and yet it is oddly romantic. I LIKE this performance!
