I tried this yesterday. But, I went about preparing it a bit different. I put my water, 1/3 cup of Craisins and chicken on the stove and brought it to a boil. I then stirred in my stuffing, removed the pot from the stove, covered it and let it sit for 5 mins. Dinner is served...and only one pot to clean. Good stuff after a day on a trail.

@SuperKing613 You can't even use proper grammar and you're insulting the uploader of this video? I'll molest your cute little asshole in front a mirror so you can view the entire process. I'll force you to lick the rim of my freeze-dried foreskin, faggot(;
P.S. I love you, sweet cheeks.

Awesome video bro, I never thought about adding the stuffing, thats a great idea. I'm going to go hit the trails up right now and try it. Cheers!

@SuperKing613 I only use this when it's absolutely true. You, are a cunt.

I will give this a try next time out. I never done this with store bought food. I have always used the freeze dry. I just started backpacking about a month or so ago.

I made this yesterday- 5 bucks.
box of mrs grass chicken noodle soup mix
small box of pre-cooked grilled chicken chunks
1 half bunch of cilantro
1 lemon half
Get the soup boiling as directed, add the box contents. After lowering the boil, add the chicken and let simmer for a few. at the very end, add chopped cilantro and a liberal squeeze of lemon.
It was so good I think I'll pack it every trip.

Awesome! Great idea. People should really check out this option for creating meals. The freeze dried meals are okay, but expensive; the MREs are sorta okay, but heavy to carry. You get way more bang for your buck and fun for your palate if you get creative with supermarket items such as this! And oh buy--those Spam singles are the bomb!
