I keep my guitars humid with a guitar humidifier you put it in between the strings and into the hole when your not using it and it works really good I really recommend that :)

Hello. Two years ago i bought a gibson flying v. I love it and couldnt be more pleased with any other instrument. Recently i have noticed my bridge getting yellow and having spots that look like rust. What should i do to prevent/reverse whats happening? I play it almost every day up to two hours(or more). I live in Norway which means its pretty cold.
PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!

im guessing it does if your guitar is wood because wood morphs when temperature suddenly changes

Does the temperature of the room where you keep your guitar matter? And how about when the temperature varies throughout the day? Let's say it's 30 Celcius now, and I turn down the thermostat, and now it's 14 Celcius.
