First, get a perfect start by pressing 'A' as soon as the '2' is fully formed on the screen. You can see & hear the timing from the the video. It can take a while to learn the proper timing, so keep trying if it doesn't work out at first!

Second, start MTing fast, with no breaks inbetween, and your kart should be able to pass over dirt and mud at full speed. The Dry Bomber is the easiest kart to PRB with, since it has a very long boost. Egg1 is also a good choice for a PRB kart.

The easiest track to begin PRBing is SNES Mario Circuit 1.  It is quite hard at first, but with practice, it is possible to get PRB almost every time.
