An easy way to get inside a tree as a warrior. You can also do this with a Druid using Entangling Roots and Feral Charge as well as a Rogue using a 5 point kidney shot followed by a shadow step. This does not work on every single tree, just certain ones.
Try not to kill the mob. The respawn timers aren't too bad, but you'll still have to wait for a minute or so.
This was done on a live 2.4.3 patched server.

I mined a copper ore node & logged out. Logged in hours later inside of a new ore node that spawned on top of me. Could not see in any direction except for close up ore wall. Was able to walk right out.

When I did this, it worked on live servers. It's probably patched now.
