Single White Female is the fourth studio album by Chely Wright. Released in 1999 on MCA Nashville Records, it is also her highest selling album, having been certified gold by the RIAA. The album's title track became Wright's first and only Number One hit on the Billboard country charts. "It Was" peaked at #11 on the same chart, while "She Went Out for Cigarettes" failed to make Top 40. Also included on this album is "The Love That We Lost", which Wright had previously recorded on her 1996 album Right in the Middle of It. "The Fire" was later covered by Mindy McCready on her 2002 self-titled album.

I had recorded this video on VHS when it first debuted, but it accidently got recorded over. I'm glad I found it here. She has such a great voice and a soulful sound. By the way, who were the two beautiful children in the video with her?

@Cynbad63 I'm a big fan of Chely Wright's, she's in my top 10 favourite artists ever actually, loved her book too, beautiful person inside and out. I think it's stupid to say you wished for her to be gay though, isn't that equally as negative wishing someone is straight when they're not?
