Hypercam is used here since VBA's recorder's desyncing problem gets really bad after several minutes. I had one or two better runs recorded, but, surprise, surprise, Windows Movie Maker wouldn't accept them. Bubble Bomb and Grab Buster are used excessively here, and they may as well be. Jupiter's Electric Shock renders most of the other weapons redundant.
Notes:
Greys become shades of yellow in Super Game Boy.
0:25: Pheh. Those flying tuning fork things annoy me. That one specificly.
0:43: Dark Moon/Yellow Devil/Rock monster/whatever that you fight before going to outer space is weak to Photon Missiles. You no longer get free weapon refills after you finish the first Stardroid tier.
2:37-3:10: Interesting level design choice here. You actually need to climb up and collect the powerups in order to make the path below change.
3:18-3:23: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto all have crystals hidden in their levels. After collecting them all, you can buy a powerup from Dr. Light that doubles your ammunition for your special weapons.
3:36-3:40: Funny screw-up here. Obviously, you can never have more than three shots onscreen simultaneously. Apparently, the orbiting health additions from Grab Buster still count as projectiles, so I couldn't kill the spaceship thing.
@ 3:12 LOL
I never understood why they would have designed the level to ... straight-up change completely after you go in a certain room hahaha
Love this game though

You don't need to actually grab the powerups to change the path. You just need to go up the ladder so that the screen scrolls off that room.
