This is wonderful. When I found it I couldn't wait to watch it. Ed Ames is so talented in whatever he undertakes, singing and acting. And he still is, I just saw him at the NY Alumni show in California. He looks and sounds fabulous. Thank you for posting this. Susie C.

@momwithoozy They've got to do an Archive Interview of Ed Ames very soon. Then we can hear him talk for minutes on end. <3

THE ONLY ONE to sing this in my humble opinion. I wish he would have included the second verse though. Still Magic !!

Beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful...Ed Ames and this great song. Thank you very much my dear pizzaguy2002.
PG, Is there any more of the 'interview'? Next to hearing him sing, I love hearing him talk. I watched this show even tho it was aimed at folks much older, and I was in my twenties. Today's talk and variety shows are so full of attention-hungry and vain people! Hugh Downs had such a low-key show (Mr. Rogers for seniors). This is one show I missed. THanks for posting it.

I'm glad others are getting enjoyment out of it.
I've been a fan of Ed Ames and Fess Parker since first watching the "Daniel Boone" show when it aired on WGN 9 Chicago in 1979-1981. I'd love to find some tapes with Boone episodes from those original WGN broadcasts.
