  • so you have to soder the led stripsinto the tunigy rx then he rx just plugs into the mainrx for the plane right?

  • @Aircraftfreak155 Yes, its a "turnigy rc switch", that i plug into my main rc.. And to the switch i have power from the battery on one side and the leds on the other.... It would also be possible to use a small brushed speedcontroller instead of a rc switch, then it would be able to adjust the brightness of the led stripes from the radio !

  • It is wonderful. It became reference when the airframe was assembled.

  • @TABINEKOMILK Thanks ! that is nice to hear !, I have just built a new swift 2, for fpv, and on that i have everything built inside the wings, no cuts at all to put down wires in. I will show it in a video soon :-)

  • what kind of control rod system do you use? I'm going to build a swift 2 soon ;-)

and I loooove the lighting, I also ordered some LED strips!! And one more question, how did you wire the lighting? Did you just make a Y harnass from the 3S lipo battery?

  • @tbvdb The control rods is the ones that is included with the swift 2, the servos i use are HXT 900. My ledstripes are 12v and yes i just connect them directly to the 3s lipo, but through a "rc switch" so i can turn them on and off with my transmitter. It a very fun plane to fly, i have lots of flight hours on it now, you will be happy with a swift2 :-)

  • Excellent build video. Awful music. :) How did those turnigy servos work out for you?

  • @tbvdb In case no one answered that question you can connect the 3 wires any way without fear of damaging your motor/ESC. If your motor/propeller spins the wrong way, simply swap ANY 2 ESC wires to reverse the motor direction.

  • nice

  • Now I can follow your build.

    Thanks.

  • How do you know how to connect the three red esc wires to the three black motor wires in the right order?

  • @petleh82 Ok, amazing! I'm sooo exited to fly this plane in the dark :p It will be my first night flyer! :D
