  • Hey, man. Great video and the first one I see in Youtube that has an actual gameplay after the game was released. Please upload more. :)

  • Thank you =) I`ll upload new videos of bosses very soon ))

  • @TheGoldenKing20 and some things that people don't notice, there can be Unit walls in HoMM 4.

for example, put any kind of unit in front of archers, the enemy archers and all kind of ranged units have to kill the unit in front of your Archers or Heroes.

Its kind of like a real life situation where someone jumps to take the shot instead of the person it was aimed for.

  • @TheGoldenKing20 that doesn't surprise me since the gameplay is almost completely identical.

With HoMM 4 and its lazy story telling, that was the limitation at the time and neither of the HoMM games made by NWC didn't have it different, but people still loved them.

With HoMM 4 the most striking difference that pissed me off and at the same time made me more interested in the game, Heroes actually fight in battles. That was a huge improvement imo, it focused exactly to the story telling style.

  • @toxicitzi I liked the Campaigns and Story Mode in 4, though the presentation was somewhat lazy, requiring you to read literal volumes of text, I liked how each campaign tried to tell its own story, centered on each campaign's hero, rather than the over-arching, rather bland and generic storyline of the HOMM5 campaign (the story got better in the expansions though). Incidentally, I don't know if you noticed, but this game's plot is essentially a rip-off of the plot of HOMM5 boiled down to basics

  • @toxicitzi Never played the multiplayer on HOMM5, singleplayer was ok, I thought. HOMM4 and 5 weren't that different in terms of gameplay, 5 had all the same problems 4 did, right down to the fact that the nature made it so you had to concentrate your entire army in one single huge stack, and the outcome of the game was pretty much decided in the first big battle. HOMM5 was actually slightly better in that regard.

  • @TheGoldenKing20 Ubisoft had money and time to release a great HoMM game return in the series, New World Computing didn't have the time to finish HoMM 4 as they intended thanks to 3DO and rushed its release.

I can't stand homm 5, if you're like me and you've played homm 3 to death you won't like homm 5 one bit since its an inferior game of homm 3. All those graphic enhancements are useless because it makes the game less playable and Multiplayer is just virtually unplayable..

  • @toxicitzi To be fair Homm4 wasn't that great either

  • Remind me of Atlantic online XD
