The Tsiytsiyt and the Sun of Righteousness

First off, thanks for these videos. They're very intriguing. I'm curious about the "sun of righteousness". Why would you feel uncomfortable about the commonalities between Near Eastern cultures' depictions of the sun with wings? If the only difference between servant and sun is the accent, then what's the common root behind both words? Perhaps they did mean sun in the context of serving the earth by lighting up the world. Maybe one phrase to depict two forms of imagery for the same message?

I have to admit that my interpretation of this phrase is just that, my interpretation. It is possible that I am wrong (I have been wrong before :-). The Hebrew root שמש (Sh.M.Sh) is a root meaning to serve and is the root for servant and sun, probably in the sense that you mention, the sun being a servant to the earth.

This is a false translation. By the time of Malachi, the Hebrew world "ShMSh" (which means Sun in Hebrew) gained another meaning: servant. This new meaning comes over from Aramaic because Jews were coming back from Babylon, where Aramaic was spoken and ShMSh has the definition of servant. So my original question remains:

Why does this interlinear translation render the words that describe the messiah as feminine in the verse?

The scripture does not say "she". But to you who fear my name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healig in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.

Servant is a much better rendering! The "sun" has no bearing on this verse, so once again the translators cause stumbling blocks. The Spirit of Yahusha is getting many wrinkles out these days. May the fruit of love continue to blossom in all Natsarim, so the restoration of the scattered tribes will increase radically. This is the singular vision we should all share, since that is the will of Yahusha.

Malachi 4:2 (my paraphrased interpretive translation):

And to you who fear My name, the righteous shamash will radiate and will have healing in the corners of his garment. And you will come forth and frolic as calves of a stall.

Note: Shamash is the servant-candle of Hanukkah that lights other candles, so it radiates as stated in the interlinear translation of this verse for the verse's first word: ve-Zaar'hah.
