No offence but I like the Gordon Lightfoot version the best. Only he can do it precisely.

That storm, to be precise, had almost as low pressure as when the E.F. went down, a friend of mine who is an engineer and captain for boats 600ft+ boats on the great lake said every boat was told to go to harbor or port during this storm. Remember this is a HABOR. Recored wave heights on some of the buoys were 22ft and higher. I was surfing in Frankfort and the waves there were a solid 10-15 feet. On of the biggest storms we've had on the Great Lakes in 100 years. Pretty cool.

"Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" performed by the Rheostatics, originally by Gordon Lightfoot.

@skankatank (?)
(sorry accidentally deleted your post - you tube is acting funny tonight)
I'm afraid it is 10ft. 8ft maybe I'll concede. From the vantage point of a sailboat it might seem lower. I ask you this, can you see over it in most craft when you are close to it? The answer is no. Also, the door as a measure is quite useful. Most doors are seven-ish feet and it's shorter than the breakwall. That light house is the size of a three story house with a light on top.
