@twoplyboy I was reading about the Simplex 4120 system, do you know much about those.... It seems that that would really just be a system that networks other panels together? I'm an inch deep and a mile wide when it come to these things.

@Gb755c Well, the middle school near my house has a Simplex 4100U voice-evac system and has that same message you mentioned, but it is spoken by a female voice. I guess Simplex offers both a male and female version of the default voice in the USA.

is that a simplex voice evac message

@paul9511 yes I was. by pass wouldnt open the door I was at so I ran down and over to the other side of the building so I could pull the manual
-
@twoplyboy Are you not (a bit) breathless at the beginning of the video ?
From the sounds of it, the various wings if the building alarm independently, (referring to the conversation "It didn't cross over, I'm local, Pull at your sides") Are those 3 different 4100U panels linked together, or is it only one panel with the ability to only alarm in the affected wing of the building?

@alberjs there are 9 4100u panels here. when the alarm is pulled in another building that is attached to this one, the fire alarm only rings where the manual was pulled.
