I loved watching Dave Kingman play when I was a kid. I remember him hitting a 530+ foot homer at Shea stadium.  It broke my heart when the Met's first traded him. Thanks for posting.

Man, these guys used to be in great shape. Now they look old and tired. I met a lot of these players years ago.

Good to see a Kingman fan. I grew up with him, played ball with him for years. We went to high school together. One game he hit a home run that was out of the park and one of the mothers coming to the game picked the ball up down the street two blocks from the field. I have tried to locate him since he left the game but lost contact. He was last living in Tahoe. Anyway, good to see some remember

Great footage. Big Kingman Fan had a better ovation at Shea. Also annoucer said he hit 421 HR. He hit 442.  Thanks for posting footage
