This song brought me to tears and now I can't stop crying. I've never felt beautiful...or whole. I've struggled with anorexia and bulimia since I was 11 (I'm 29 now). I'm so lost. I cut to numb the pain but it only helps for a short while. I want to belong...to be 'pretty'...to be loved. I don't want to be used anymore. When I smile, I want it to be because I'm happy...not just to cover all the things I'm hiding.

@hiccupchick1 As I read your comment, tears came to my eyes as well. I have a lot of experience where it comes to anorexia and bulimia. Great song, though I noticed there`s not picture of overweight people, I guess only skinny people are beautiful. That means I`m not beautiful.

@edpinkgurl That is certainly not the case either in the video or in the lyrics of the song. Our external appearances, whether they be crooked teeth, a bad complexion, overweight, etc are not the qualifications of beauty in God's eyes. We were made in His image and we are beautiful in His eyes.
