It was a scary ride for four people from Indiana Thursday morning after the plane they were flying in crashed during a landing attempt in Southwest Mahoning County.
"Absolutely. The four people on board the plane are extremely lucky," said Sgt. Bret Henderson of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Lucky is the only way that Henderson can describe the results of the plane crash that happened about 8:45 a.m.
Four people in a Socata TBM-700 7-seat Turbo-Prop plane were attempting to land at the Salem Air Park off State Route 45 in Goshen Township.
I'm sure the POH doesn't recommend feathering the prop on short final
