Nice car, which is paint code?
-
Where did you buy your airbags from?
-
So clean looks so Badass on the bags when its lowered
-
I stopped watching after I saw the destroyed suspension. It sure was a nice car at one time though.
-

-

Did you have to modify the frame?

@renrivas123 hello, not really just addded some metal bases to set the airbags, and re locate the shocks, but u don't need to modify the frame.

@polloloco65 - Oh alright. I'm rebuilding a 67 Chevy BelAir 4door. I want to put bags on it but, not sure what that takes and if the frame needed to be modified. Thanks for the info. Is your car on 20's?
renrivas123 5 months ago
@renrivas123 , Not anymore, i put 13" spokes, and the ride is a lot smother, the 20" were to big and tire to low profile like there was no air cushion.

-Did you have to cut anything to fit the air bags in?
-Was it a ready made kit for the 65?
-How much did it cost?
I have a 66 Impala SS, and am considering airbag suspension. I am not interested having to cut up orinigal parts. I want the ride adjustible in height, not really a low rider fan. Just a muscle car fan. I might upgrade my brakes and will need larger wheels. Maybe 17s, no bigger.
Thanks

@KiTTeNChaoSS sorry, I miss ur post, nothing was cut on the frame, just new metal bases for the bags to sit on. like any custom you will probably be doing some cuts, and welds to the frame, can't really tell u a lot. but I can say try the super Chevy magazine, and you get lots of ideas.
