Cold fusion refers to a proposed nuclear fusion process of unknown mechanism offered to explain a group of disputed experimental results first reported by Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons. Cold fusion, under this definition, was first announced on March 23, 1989, when Fleischmann and Pons reported producing nuclear fusion in a tabletop experiment involving electrolysis of heavy water on a palladium (Pd) electrode. They reported anomalous heat production ("excess heat") of a magnitude they asserted would defy explanation except in terms of nuclear processes. They further reported measuring small amounts of nuclear reaction byproducts, including neutrons and tritium. These reports raised hopes of a cheap and abundant source of energy.

Maybe this is why they have just built several huge flywheel storage power plants in the north east in resent years. They say to stabilize the grid, but this grid is not new and not needed Damping adjustment in the past! What has changed?? It may be to work with their Cold Fusion plants!

LFTR's are great compared to Uranium fission. BUT they still require heavy shielding to safegaurd against radiation. LFTR's will never be a household item or something youll power your car with (directly). LENR/cold fusion is EASY, radiation free and its already here. Where have you been hiding? Leonardo Inc in italy tested/fired up the first commercial scale (MegaWatt) Cold fusion reactor 2 years ago. and now they're taking orders for the 2kw home version 40cm x 40cm x 40cm.

WHERE have you been? Leonardo Inc in Italy tested the first commercially viable (500kw) Cold fusion TWO YEARS AGO. Theyre taking orders and the units come in stackable 2kw and 5kw capacities I believe. HOWEVER, they just provide the 2 or 5 kw of heat. Its upto you at this point to hook it up to steam turbine or thermo electric generator if you want electricity and not just hot water for your house. BUT it's here, Mass production starting shortly.

Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors are "real" suppressed story (and desperately in need of YOUR active interest and help to fund research). Do a search on "thorium remix 2011 dvd" and prepare to be blasted away. Fusion is hard and iffy at best. Fission --- SAFE fission is where it's at.
