The boys doing what they have always done best- Country songs. It's an unusual rendition of one of Merle Haggard's best songs, from their 1968 album "Roots"

  • @tickyreal Correct, Erik!

  • Great! The 1st gospel(a little bit} at least,that I ever heard from the Everly's!

  • Thanks Estelle, glad you liked it!

  • @lettermen1..did they ever do a Gospel album? I wd love to hear more. They sound good at everything they do!

  • No, I don't believe they ever did, I guess their Christmas album ( very rare now!) would be the closest to gospel.

  • If any body can sing me back home, it is Don and Phil Everly! I hope they have heroes in their lives who make them feel the way they, and their music, make us feel.

  • This is a priceless treasure; their mother Margaret has the identical speaking voice as baby boy phil....sweet, high and angelic. Is that their mom singing with Don in the beginning; not sure if it is Mom or Phil.
