Sacrifice...he sacrificed everything. His family's love for him, his reputation, he disabused the powers of Jedi finally allowing the GA to separate Jedi from state and allowing equality. He sacrificed himself to save Allana and Tenel Ka. He sacrificed Mara and Bens idolization of him in order to allow himself to be despised by all so both sides would unite against him. Think "Watchmen" Soviets and USA end cold war to hunt down rogue superhero...

The "Legacy of the Force" series was refreshing to say the least. Jacen was an amazing multi-dimensional character, as opposed to pretty much the rest of the cast... I wish he would have survived somehow, gone into exile or something... A free electron in other words.

Jancen Solo. The hero who took the path of darkness, so the galaxy could be at peace standing on his corpse, reviling him as the epiphany of evil. He became the focus of hatred, knowing he would slowly loose his way, so his visions of a dead galaxy did NOT come about.
And he succeeded.
