This video shows the work being done by Rotary and her partners to provide safe water, medical education and prevention, and medical care. We are close to celebrating the end of Guinea Worm Disease. Rotary paid for wells in villages where the disease was the worst.
The people shown in the press release are Dr. Edwin Ampadu, Director of National Buruli Ulcer for Ghana Health Services, Jim Niquette, Director of Water in Africa, Samuel Obour, President of Sunyani Central Rotary Club and Walter Hughes, Past President of Rocky Mount, VA Rotary Club. We also announced the partnership with Georg FIscher Jubilee Clean Water Foundation of Switzerland.
The team members for the August 2010 trip are Peter Coats, Michael Shroyer, and Walter Hughes.
