"Dancin' Shoes" was originally written by Carl Storie, and first recorded by his Faith Band. They were a local band here in Anderson, Indiana. After they sold the rights they could no longer perform it.

Carl Story of the Faith Band is the one who wrote this song, but he and Nigel released it at exactly the same time. Carl and his mom Faye, and his sister Judy lived in YORKTOWN, IN. I know this because my mom and his mom both worked together, and we spent a lot of time with them. Carl gave me free tickets to one of their concerts in Muncie, IN at the Muncie Field House. He still performs this song at many performances...just about every performance he does he almost HAS to do this song.
