@roger767 There's no JBOD or Spanning in the specifications, so I believe you can't put drives of different capacities.

All RAID configurations needs to operate with even sized drives, so you won't be able to do so.
Unfortunately I don't know any Italian, but can anyone comment on the noise rate and possibly the speed of this device when connected by FW800 running RAID5+?

can you put different sized drives in the icy box. 2TB drives with 1TB drives for example

If you look in the instructions, theres no say nothing about to put 3 switches UP. In my case im looking for a case, witch can use for a 4 discs and LOOK4 disk in WIndows. Maybe its possible.

@Viperviperviper definitely yes, after this i bought a new called Probox, is for 4 HDDs SATA and win/mac/linux is able to see four different devices. Price 100 $ in a reseller in Florida
