  • Great review Andrew. Only shame is that in England these things cost £500 (about $900 USD)! You got a bargain. I am a bit worried about upgrading to a 36v battery as I fear the controller & motor might burn out - what do you reckon?

    Cheers

    Stew.

  • ouch. that's a high price my friend. As for using a 36v battery, other people have done this and archived a top speed of 27MPH (43.45Km/h) but they have done cooling modifications. I would assume you would void the warranty on it if you used anything above 24V. over all, i dont think it will hurt the controller as much as the motor. It gets rather hot as it is. I would not advise using a 36v on this, but I guess if you knew what your were doing, you might pull it off.

  • One thing I like to see if u make nother video, I wanna see u put your bike into the charger. 2 I wanna see u up grade that battery to the Ion battery u where talking about. dont for get to make film 3. by the way do u still like the bike after a year. ? cool vid

  • I can do all this in my next video. and i will. and i will by upgrading to a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. much better than anything else out there. I have only owned this bike for about a month.

  • i have made the video showing how to upgrade this bike with a custom battery. look in my channel for it, should be 1 of the 9 videos on the page.

  • Questions! (1) once the battery is fully charged... does it need to be charged again untill i use it again even if i dont use it for long while? (2) and if i use it only for 15 minutes do still i charge it for the same amount of time as if i drove it for 1/2 hour? :)

  • My E-Zip bicycle gives me back-aches

  • I have owned my E-zip which is identical to this one for 3yrs now. I still use the original battery in it with no problems what so ever. I usually get around 12-17 miles from a charge with very little pedal asist. And around 8-10 with no pedaling. I weigh 170 #'s. I get around 16-17 mph top speed on level ashphalt. This bike is a great deal for the money. I could not be happier!

  • man that's fkn cheap. They don't get much better up to a $1000.

  • Question! can u use the rly good lp4 g whatever it was on the last question and also use the stock battery one on earch side or niot?

  • Thanks Andrew, I know you say about 4-5 miles one way for a batter at 225 pounds but what about 209 + 15 pounds for camera bag? and I will only need to travel 3.4 miles one way!

  • hey does it come with a speedometer

  • how does the brakes work ? how do you brake while the motor is running ? do you stop the motor and then apply brakes ?

    how do you accelerate ?

  • My EZip will be coming soon, good to know I chose the right bike (It'll be my first e-bike).

Thank you very much for the review! :D Greatly appreciated.
