Over the past few years the internet has become overrun with "toy" grade rc helicopters. Many people who discover rc helicopters through the internet (myself being one of them) find themselves at a crossroads when they have exhausted the entertainment value of their 3 channel Indoor helis. The question at this point is, do you go out and buy another 3ch heli for 20-30 dollars or do you venture into Hobby grade helicopters?

Well the answer may be here! The Falcon 8913 is a 4 channel FM transmitter Indoor heli that goes for 40, yes 40 dollars!! (on websites such as Aliexpress and Ebay)

But the question is, does this heli really deliver the excitment of a hobby grade heli at a fraction of the price?

Watch and find out!!

  • Hey I just got the same helicopter but in silver and black.

Is your tail rotor actually spinning?

Because mine don't, I wonder if it's broken or not, it not I'm kind of disappointed it's just there for decoration.

  • @thaik56 No yours is fine, its just for decoration man, i already took mine off! :P

  • Not to be a fan boy or anything but I would reccomend anyone starting out to buy from a local hobby shop due to parts being close.

  • I just bought a clone of this i hope its good lol

  • Hi,

What is operational range for the remote control?

I bought one of these and its seems mine only has about 6m of operation range :(

  • Hi,

Really like the helicopter but I have no forward backward control :o(

Any ideas how I can fix this?

  • @HELIlview

    Ah that sucks =/

But I think the Lanneret IV which is twin of the Falcon XVII has a tail rotor that actually works.

I saw that on youtube somewhere.
